Remove the ballast
Disconnect the hot, neutral and socket lead wires to take the ballast out of the circuit.
Wire directly
Connect the tube's supply leads directly to your power source (120V or 277V).
Use non-shunted tombstones
Non-shunted lamp holders (not included) are required for direct-wire operation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician. Turn off power at the breaker before starting.
